Did you know Farther is just one guy?
Farther began shortly after my cousin told me about this thing called bike touring. As a life long gear nerd and DIYer, the initial “I bet I could make that” turned into requests from friends, then friends of friends, and eventually selling bags became a way to fund this whole endeavor. Oops I made I business.

Here we are.
These days, Farther, more than anything represents an escape. Whether it’s traveling to far off lands or just strapping some bags to your bike and rolling off into the woods. Just getting out there however you can and bringing some stuff along with you.
Whatever this thing becomes, I’m just gonna keep making bags. Small batch, sustainable materials, made to last, and warrantied for life.
